The Earathinian species and their history was created by ~solidfalcon. She allowed me to create a character from her world! 8D

I kind of also based him off of Genesis from FF7 Crisis Core. Actually, Genesis is the REASON why I created him. XD;

I just picked water as his element because I didn't want to totally copy off of Genesis and pick fire XD;

Falconeesh told me that the water element peeps are feesh, so I was like 'COOOOL 8D'.

He is named after the Titan of water, Okeanos.

Now onto the rest of the spew about him!




Name: #8

Nickname: Okeanos.

Species: Water Magian. Within the water, he takes his true form, while outside of water, he becomes a two-legged human. [link]

History: He has lived most of his life as a human soldier, not knowing his true race. His name was #8. He trained and served under cruel rulers, not knowing any other life, believing that this was ideal. Until the day of his and his brothers' freedom. He learned the truth of his 'superiors' and the truth of the world, and grew to hate those he once saw as 'heroes'.

Personality: Now a free man, Okeanos spends his daily life training at his own pace for the battles of the future. He alongside three of his brethren from the past dream of freeing their home world from the cruelty that they themselves were freed from. He himself dreams of being the hero above all heroes. Revered for his strength and abilities in combat. He wishes to strike through the hearts of every one of his past 'superiors' and end their reign over the world.
Once in a while, he will enjoy smaller pleasures such as reading, writing poetry, and especially eating everything that makes it's way into his sight.
His favorite of all pass-times would be his poetry. Underneath his scarred and brutish (but sexy) exterior, is a heart of shinning jewels and gold. He believes poetry to be a manifestation of all truths of life into living word. He will often come out of nowhere and blurt poetic phrases that can seem to have no meaning to the dumbest of listeners, but to him, it is beauty with words.
If you seek his friendship, the fastest way to do so is by praising his awesomeness, don't overdo it, though, or he'll think you're stupid. Another effective way is to just prove to him that you are a decent person. The other fastest way is to kindly and respectfully offer him some food.
It can be rather difficult at times, though, for friendship is one of the least sought after things in his life. He wants strength to become the hero of his world, not a friend who will ask him to spend time with them and get in his way. He'll only make exceptions for rare kinds of people... like the bug girl Neikoura.
All and all, Okeanos is a man of respect, and often, few words, until it's time to blurt out poetry of coarse.
If you have earned his respect, then you have likely deserved it, and if you have earned his friendship, then you deserve congratulations.
The simplest way to gain his respect is to respect him in return, showing him that you are the type of kind and decent person that he wishes to free his world for.
In honour of the pride and hopes of himself and all beings of his world, he will see to it that his dreams come true.

Weapon: A large and powerful magical glaive that he can summon and dismiss any time.

Likes: Stupid people (the entertaining kind), food (apples are love), water, fighting and sparring, getting through difficult challenges, helping out those closest to him (even though it doesn't look like it), poetry, stories, nature, beautiful hearts, praise.

Dislikes: Stupid people (the non-entertaining kind), the entertaining-type stupid people becoming more stupid and less entertaining, those closest to him getting hurt in any way, badly cooked food, when people pass gas, when people pass gas and don't confess or APOLOGIZE for it.
